Solar energy is a waste of time, money and land. With the same amount of money it takes to build a solar power plant we could build a nuclear power plant that produces a lot more energy and uses less land.
@Hobemaster not to mention the incident solar energy per meter squared is much lower in Germany because it is at a higher latitude.
